Shockwatch is the best known impact indicator. It is an octagonal super label affixed to the goods or packaging. This device contains a tube filled with red liquid held in suspension. When it is subjected to an impact exceeding a specified G-level, the shock disrupts the surface tension of the liquid, releasing the highly visible red dye into the length of the tube, creating a permanent and immediate indication of mishandling. Normal movement or road shock won't affect the device. It is only activated by the specific impacts for which it is designed. Once activated, it cannot be reset.
Shockwatch detects and records impact and mishandling of fragile, sensitive, or calibrated during transportation. It works as an education tool that influences the behavior of handlers during the manufacturing and shipping process. They can also aid in ensuring product integrity and serve as a testing mechanism in comparing packaging. By monitoring the goods, it can also be used to prevent warranty abuse.

As indicated by the five different colors, Shockwatch can provide five inductive zones. Yellow, purple, red, orange and green, each color represents different G-force. Yellow is the one with highest sensitivity and green the lowest. The order is yellow, purple, red, orange and green. G-Force is indicated at the bottom of label.

 Product selection Guide
The choices of different indicators depend on the dimension (Length *Width*height) and weight of the goods. For bigger and heavier goods; indicators with higher sensitivity shall be selected.
Other factors need attention:
Packaging material: If the package design is strong and reliable, and the damage rate is very low, indicator with less sensitivity is recommended.
Precision degree: If the goods are very precise with high requirement of shipment, indicators with higher sensitivity shall be selected.
Product Structure: When the product has top heavy design with high requirement of shipment, indicator with higher sensitivity shall be selected.

Use method
Tear off the Shockwatch and stick to the appropriate position.
Method: Always affix Shockwatch at the upper right corner of the package label. The heavier the goods are, the lower position Shockwatch should be affixed to.

Packaging conditions
Each two Shockwatch share one paster. Use it once tear it off.
50pcs / box, 32 boxes / carton. In the transport of green, orange, red, the three less sensitive indicators, in order to protect them from collisions and wrongly activation, the carton shall be put into a 24 cubic inches of big box and be suspended by padding sponge 4-inch in thickness at the eight corners.
In the transport of purple, yellow, the two indicators with higher sensitivity, the carton shall be put into a 28 cubic inches of big box and be suspended in the air by padding sponge 5 –inch in thickness at six sides(front, back, top, bottom, left, right) to avoid collision. Furthermore, a Red Shockwatch shall be affixed to the big carton, warning a handling with care.
